After becoming the West Kootenays’ latest roofing contractor; having expanded our Salmon Arm-based business in Castlegar, it didn’t take long to win our first job.

Within a week of launching our new website and running a great new advert on the Goat, we were up the ladders and on to a roof on Columbia Avenue in Castlegar to rip out the old badly weathered tiles.

The customer wanted the new roof to match those of the buildings either side of their residential property. We therefore matched the colour and material and installed a ‘resawn shake’ (colour) asphalt shingle roof which not only improved the look of the property and matched it with the nearby buildings, but more crucially, hugely enhanced it’s protection from the weather.

The customer is delighted with the end result, as are we, and we look forward to protecting many further residential roofs before the winter comes and does it’s worst.
